If you prefer a public bus, Tracopa has a bus that leaves at 5 am to Palmar Norte, (Palma Norte and Palmar Sur are the same town separated by a river), the bus arrives at 11 am in Palmar Norte, we arrange transportation from the bus station to Sierpe where you take the boat.

Also available are private vans, we can arrange this for you.

Please have in mind that our boats leave at 12 noon every day from Sierpe, so if you plan on taken a bus from San Jose the only way to be in Sierpe at 12 noon is taken the 5 am bus from Tracopa, we can buy tickets for you and drop them in your hotel in San Jose.
